Since I never do that kind of accusation, your responses surprise me.

I truly never heard of this performer until the last two weeks or so. How she can have some profound impact on a music genre that's been going since the late 70s? What other word is there? It's the excess of exuberance to make a point.

He's Cuban??? Wow. He looks like the world's biggest headed white nerd, sort of like The Brain from Pinky and the Brain. That is one guy that needs to find a some signature headgear like LL and his famous blue watch cap that he wears because he takes so many steroids he's gotten Barry Bonds cranial enlargement. Pitbull looks like a giant GE lightbulb. And what little noise I've heard out of his mouth is not pleasing, neither talking or rappin.

If you want your hip hop to have the larger picture, because it's a movement born out of struggle strife and poverty, this girl isn't it. She doesn't rap about anything meaningful or with a larger message, nor does she rap about "the struggle".

Explain Drake's image of authenticity. Rich kid "starting at the bottom" and becoming an even richer rapper... yeah, that's street cred.

I don't think that in these trying times, "Started at the Top and Achieved Commercial Success as Was My Birthright Thanks to My Privilege" would be a chart-topper.
 
Alternately, Pitbull looks like a kid with cancer. Now if he has it, I'm all sorry and stuff. But the name doesn't fit the look. I think he should be "Chihuahua".
