Little one came four weeks early (3/8)! 6lbs, 3oz little girl Zoë decided that 4 weeks was just too long to wait :p

Aw Congrats Dad :)

Full head of hair and a mohawk! Got yourself a little rebel.
Beautiful happy baby.
Congrats to you and the family.

Congrats dad!!

Good on ya for giving the little one umlauts in her name.

Umlauts: always cool.

are you going to buy a wig for your daughter too? i hope she doesnt get your bug eyes...

goofy looking people have to stop putting a picture of themselves as an avatar.

Awesome. Now get her to stand in line at an Apple store for one of those new iPad 2's!

Congrats! Now the fun begins, is she your first? We have 4, the youngest is "almost" finished school......WHEW!

Dimple Cry! :thumbup

Congratulations sir! We named our daughter Zoë as well, she's a little over 4 years old. :)

Congratulations!

Wow, with all the new babies on BARF we should create a new forum section for questions and advice on caring for babies. Dar & V4 can be the moderator. :)

you guys! :laughing Thank you for all the comments.

She totally shocked us. V worked her last day Friday, then was (supposed to be) off work for 4 weeks before the due date, followed by 3 months after the birth. Plans of doing all the laundry, tidying up the nursery, decorating and planning went right out the window. She was actually in the parking lot of Walmart to pick up the crib mattress when her water broke. Couldn't even get one day to herself! :laughing :cry :laughing Add in 24hrs of labor (20 hrs of which were sans epidural :wtf), it was time to get the baby out, so a C-section was ordered. I was surprised I could be in the room with my wife for the procedure, and glad it was as the surgery was amazingly routine (the doc was talking about Thai food, and discussing why her UCLA was better than the anesthesiologist's USC :laughing).

This is our first child. I wasn't worried about bugeyes... more worried that my (formerly) Canadian side would show, and she'd talk like Ike from South Park :p

The hospital has wifi, which has been a boon to get in touch with family far away (yay Skype!). If she's good, Zoë will get an iPad of her own. If not, she's getting a Zune. :twofinger

Congrats new dad! :party

You already got her covering up with those pasties! :thumbup
