Indoor/outdoor ranges

I picked my son up yesterday afternoon at OAK. I noticed the San Leandro range on GOogle maps and went to check it out. I didn't go into the range, but from the parking lot it looked to be super run-down. Is this a good (safe) place to shoot? Not that I am likely to drive all the way up there from San Jose.

It's definitely a bit run down, but not unsafe.

Popular weekend times are typical of public ranges, filled with folks who don't know how to shoot. Range Masters are on top of most sketchy shit, but focus most of their time, seemingly, on enforcing the 1 shot every 2 seconds rule.

Coyote Point in San Mateo is closing. I think they're open till midnight tonight, then donezo.

Oops, got my brain mixed up there.

Target Masters West in Milpitas is closing, and they're not on the list.

To be clear:

  1. Target Masters is closing (not on the list)
  2. Coyote Point is temporarily closed (website says they may open by about 8/1)

Is that correct? If so, I annotated the list with a comment for Coyote Point and Target Masters is still not on it.
