If you mean the pros of the Raven model to the 'standard' colors... purely cosmetic with black fairings and red pinstripe on the wheels.
Overall for the R6, if you can find one, try to get the 2005 model instead, it has better brakes (including Brembo master cylinder) and inverted forks. The '05 model was pretty much the best year for the second-gen R6... The newer R6s models are the same bike, but I believe did go back to the '03-04 specs to keep the price down.

The current R6s and the Raven 2005 have the same MSRP. So it looks like they took out some of the perks in favor of making the new R6 their flagship supersport. Remember back in 2003 the CBR600RR rose up and gave the CBR600F4i a banana seat the following year to make it more touring oriented.

well for one they didnt make raven aka BLACK in 03, they had red, blue and limit edition silver with black flames

I think silver w/ black flames was 04. 03 had the silver/black scheme - check my avatar. I also believe 03 had black with red flames.
