Inline 4 vs Vtwins vs V4 vs Triple What do you like between your legs?

its all about my 75CC 2-STROKE.. now thats one badass engine :D

twin all the way!!!!!

I ride the R1 and love it :) but....

I rode the RC51 and can't get it out of my head... my next bike is going to be a twin. FOR SURE.

If you haven't tried a twin yet, be sure to try one that's had some things done to it.. like Power Commander, and Pipes... ahhh the sound... ahhh the power.... shhhh don't tell my R1 I found someone new... she'll get jealous!:teeth

for some odd reason, i'm starting to get the impression that raphtze likes his V4.

:teeth

i'm a twin man myself. there's nothing like a big 90 degree v-twin thumping at a stop light. :cool

hahah........yup i do luv my V4. my next bike? i've been lusting actually for a 929RR. but the RC-51 reallllllllly is pulling me....... its either boils down to a RC-51, or a Mille.

now, if i were to get an inline 4??? hrm.......rumour has it that the 1000cc M/V Agusta F5 is coming soon to a dealer near you.....:p

for now though, my viffer suits me just fine :)

As being one that has ridden and rc30 and 45(briefly) a modern 1000 cc v4. Maybe a new rc v5. The sound is unreal the grunt out of corners are intoxicating hold on I have to get a towel:smoking

liter twins and big-bore thumpers are the bestest motors evar in the whole universe. I have both! Wooo hooo I WIN. :D

You know, Ryan, I have an Aprilia Falco and a couple of big singles. Are you sure we're not the same person? I mean, have you ever seen us in a room at the same time? We may actually be the same person :wow

Twins!!

I've had an inline 4 - I'll echo all those who like the power on demand and torque w/o having to rev it up. I'd like to try a v4 and triple to see what they're like...

Now having owned all of them.....

I gotta say a big bore Twin or triple are far more exhilarating to ride because of the blatant power on command. Now revving needed. Triple are nothing to laugh at either. When you dial them in just right there ain't much better than the Torque and speed you feel from a twin or Triple.
Speaking of which, I just picked up a couple of issues of some EURO mags (FASTBIKE and SUPERBIKE) that both have generous write ups on the new Benelli. They said it is 140 HP Hellion to ride. THey were testing it up against another Italian exotic the Mondial Piega. THe Mondial is like what Bimota used to do with the Suzuki TL, and Ducati motors. Make a street legal race bike with somebody elses engine(in this case the HONDA SP-1 or RC51 to the american audience).

Here are a couple of pictures.

I will just post these others in the picture section

From the front. The article said the bike was fantastic but the Benelli was more inspiring and competitive. "Faster and more like taming a wild stallion !" is what I believe the guy said.
