So searching through the forum I've seen recommendations for Ken Casey as an insurance agent, and just wanted to know if people had other agents they'd recommend talking to. Gotta make sure I'm not paying too much for the 2 bikes + cage.

I've also been searching for a new insurance agent/company and policy. Current policy is close to $150/month for my versys and CBR together under my name. Yes, I'm aware of my age and the "risk" my age group is responsible. Geico feels a little bit expensive... :thumbdown

+1
She's a State Farm agent, an avid moto rider, and an all around sweetheart. If you want an agent who really cares about you, give her a call.

If more than one person vouches for an agent, then that is a good indicator to me. :thumbup

Yup. X100 for Erich.

How is your experience with him?

Erich Stiegler. Great agent in every way.

Will also give him a call. Seems like a nice guy from what you say.

I love Abby baldini in emeryville.

Checking her out too. When you got your quote, if you did get one, did you have to go and visit her in person or give info over the phone? If I may ask, of course.

You could do it over the phone. But an in person appointment is nice because then you're a face to go with a name.

I use gene morgan insurance in livermore. They are a broker and will set you up with best rate and coverages for your needs. I have them for my vehicles, home, life and Business Insurance. Ive been doing business with them for 20 years. To be honest, they weren't quite competitive with my motorcycle rates. For that I use Geico and I've had good luck with them too.

Errr uuhhh USAA !

Marilyn Wong, State Farm. San Mateo. She is very cool and likes bikes.

I like Ken Casey but he never returns any of my quote request emails, and the $10 gift card that he promised when quoting new customers as he opened up shop never materialised.

I have Mike Rosa (State Farm), who rides and used to race - he's in Moraga or something, is responsive and pleasant to deal with. Erich is the bomb though, I always get a quote from him first.

Hey Gang, thanks for the recommendations! Nice to "meet" you today nitewingb, looking forward to talking more. Guess I gotta change my avatar to a more professional image, huh? Especially since I made the deal with Budman this week to become a sponsor...hehe...not to mention I'm about 15 years older than that now...

Gt3x...regarding your age and risk class...do call me...my company has this weirdo loophole for that, it might help.

PS - somebody close to the source told me Ken is out of the game...I haven't talked to him lately, though. I gotta touch base with Mike Rosa, though, thanks for the reminder. People love him and I love knowing all the risk tolerant risk managers around. :p
