Buying the new bike in a week or so. I'm switching insurance companies now. Anyone know a good place to get insuarnce? I'm in sca, so preferably nothing in the bay. Thanks for all the help guys!

www.gmac123.com

I have high policy limits, $150 deductible, uninsured motorist, etc. for less than $400 a year for a 2002 R1 and a 2000 955i.

'course, I live in Chico... bet it would be three times that in the City.

Try AAA-SoCal if you have a clean record--about $500/yr

pioneer insurance is cheap cheap cheap...don't know about their response time, but i had liability insurance for $28.00 w/ 3 points on my record and i was only 18. i think they discontinued motorcycle insurance to minors...not sure, dont have insurance anyway i just hope i don't f**k up. by the way, i insured a 2000 gixxer 600.

peace lates

Nice. Did you go through the agent or via the web site?
Looks like there is no way to get a MC quote online.

I seem to remember that I tried to get a quote on the site, but finally had to call their toll free number. 1-800-gmac-123

I originally heard of them through the owner of the Yama-Duc dealer in Chico. He wadded his ST2 on the second (and last) Ducati SuperRide summer before last, and said he had a very good experience with them. Come to think of it, I've never heard him gripe about getting burned after his accident, so maybe they won't slam me over my claim.
