Intermediate Riding Clinic pricing?

ARC is offered by 2 wheel safety training several times a year.

Yeah, that's the thing - right now I see only 1 for Apr 28, and there are 2 IRC classes. And place (Gavilian College) is about an hour ride from my home...

One thing that kind of drive me off this courses is strict policy about class start time, I guess it's a bit less strict for IRC, ARC, but oh man I really don't like coming 20 minutes before, or worrying that if I late by 2 minutes I would have to wait another few months (at best) or year to get to this class again.

I understand there are not so many instructors and places around bay area, but I believe increase amount of places and times where IRC and ARC could be taken will be super beneficial for community.

The IRC and ARC are offered at many training sites and those classes are not all listed on Total Control's website but are listed on the individual training site's website.

I realize this is confusing.

The IRC is offered by all of the Bay Area training site operators.

The ARC is offered by most training site operators.

I prepared the Livermore range this past week and it will come available in the next few weeks.

I'd like to hear your take on the Alameda Sheriff's course. I'm signed up for it in May but like you also considering the IRC. The Sheriffs course from the description sounds pretty good but what's your thoughts on it?

I love that class. I’ve done it twice, that the second time, the instructor gave us harder tasks to do, since 2/4 in the class were there for the second time.

The instructors made it fun. I believe his last name was Patterson.

But well worth the price of admission specially if you rent one of their bikes! Also, show up even I’d they say the class is full, they have a shit load of flakes. They may let you get in anyway.

I'll second the part about flakes depending on how far of a drive it is. You can also request to be on the waitlist if you want to do it sooner, I got a call after just a couple weeks.

I did it on my bike, which they strongly advised against. The bike in question was terrible for the class (tall gearing, clipons, and poor steering lock) and they actually just had me sit a couple exercises out, however I am glad I did it on a challenging bike and my own, rather than a completely different one where the muscle memory wouldn't translate as well. FWIW I will probably do it again on a rental, but am glad I did it once on one of my bikes.
