Jorge Lorenzo signing @ D-Store 6/30

Great chance to meet the future, if anyone is on the fence about going. Nice pre-race event, Dan!

if i handed him a set of frame sliders and told him to give them to pedrosa, do you think he would do it?

Thanks, man!

Lookie what I just unloaded (out of the back of a Hertz rental truck :wtf) and rolled into the shop! This is the real deal from two seasons ago. It's pretty amazing reading about what these things weigh, but until you actually roll one around, you have no perspective. I honestly felt like i could easily pick the bike up, tuck in under my arm, and comfortably walk around all day with it. Amazing.

Can I take it around the block? I promise I won't drop it, and I'll be back I swear... :D

So even though Lorenzo will be there alone, he'll have Rossi's bike staring at him the whole time... :rofl

I'm bringing in a mid-panel on my R1 to be signed. Starbucks cred and performance mod FTW!

Interestingly enough, they didn't leave the keys. Sorry.

I hear that particular bike is missing a few key electronics components to make it run, but otherwise its a complete bike. Mo hooked you up with that one right?

Er, ah, Rossi was on Michelin tires with Michelin stickers in 2007, wasn't he? But I understand the need to change history to appease current sponsors and contractual obligations.

Bike from two years ago with current sponsors applied to it. No one is changing history here. Just trying to give people the opportunity to see a GP bike up close and personal.

It's very much complete. I don't see a fuel pump in the tank, so I'm sure a few components were removed to immobilize it.

I recommend trailering the bike up to the top of Twin Peaks or Fillmore and allowing some lucky winner to ride it in neutral downhill.

Although it will probably crash in the first turn without tire warmers.
