Junkie/Daniel Was In a Crash in SLO- Hospitalized

I've ridden with Daniel on several occasions. Solid rider and a good guy. Doesn't sound too bad, at least. Hopefully, just some minor head trauma (if there is such a thing) and the broken arm. Heal up and enjoy the drugs, bud!

According to his parents, the doctors told them no concussion... but if you've got loss of consciousness and loss of memory, wouldn't that be a concussion?
Regardless, it could have been soooo much worse...

Pics of the bike up at SLORiders, but you have to be registered to view the thread. The damage looks minimal so he probably wasn't going that fast when either he hit the object or the object hit him. I may have to edit my first post.........nah, it's always the cagers fault......

Was wondering why traffic was heavy from BARFers at SLORiders.

Ill post the pics here. He called me last night and sounded pretty messed up - out of it and not knowing what was going on. I couldnt go to the hospital because they said I wasnt family and it was after 8pm.

Took these about 1am of the scene

And his bike today. Minimal new damage.

Ill post the pics here. He called me last night and sounded pretty messed up - out of it and not knowing what was going on. I couldnt go to the hospital because they said I wasnt family and it was after 8pm.

I think Beau and Zilla are picking it up this afternoon actually. Thanks though.

From looking at it last night it seems as if he scrubbed most of his speed through the skid, but I think he rear ended a vehicle and was ejected into the back of it. He gets concussions easily too, Im sure he has one - this isnt the first (or 2nd, or 3rd) accident hes had thats ended in the hospital with no idea what happened. Bad luck

Hes a fighter who will be back on the SV in short order, no doubt about that.

LOL, come on its true Jim!

Daniel is not the one to care for aesthetics as long as the bike ran properly, which it did just the day before when I saw him - doubt this was any type of mechanical issue.

I THINK the new damage is the right slider, right shifter and peg, left headlight bracket area, left bar end mirror, and the right rear pass peg pushed into the can a bit. Anything else I think was old damage from other various.... adventures.
