I'd go for a 2008 Honda Transalp which U.S Honda staff don't even ride motorcycles and is too lame to bring to the states and don't know what the difference between a Honda VFR and a Civic is..

a sport tourer, adventure bike, and commuter all in one with a Vtwin motor...

that's a damn tough question

If I was only able to hit the track it would probably be a ducati 1098

Only ride on the street, probably one of those BMW sport touring bikes

Only around a city it would be a kick ass supermoto (probably ktm)

If I had to pick one bike for all around though it would be an SV650


I could take it to the track, do some sport touring on it, hit the backroads. Just a great bike all around IMO
 
CBR600, any year - it'd give me grins at the track and would probably go for the rest of my life.
 
I would probably choose my Husky 610 due to the versatility factor. I'd hate to give up dirtbikes, but I'd also fling myself off the bridge if I had to commute in a car. The Husky can do both things very well.

My SV650 would be a very close second, as it can do double duty as a dualsport bike as well.

Forgot about that little gem. SV650 or CBR600rr for me.

Odd because I have two liter bikes and an old CB at the moment. :laughing
