I still stand by my argument that Islam is at heart of transforming him into the head chopping psychopath that he is today. Islam gives him (in his mind and the minds of Muslims) the justification and "moral" authority to commit his barbaric acts. He is copying what his beloved prophet did 1400 years ago. If "moderate Muslims" of the world condemn Emwazi for what he has done in the name of Islam, why don't they condem the prophet Mohammed who had committed atrocities a million times in scale compared to ISIS? Why does the Historical Mohammed get to be beyond all reproach and criticism? Is it reasonable for Muslims, moderate and wahabbi, to demand the rest of the world to never talk shit about their beloved prophet?

We can see in Northern Ireland sectarian violence disappeared during the Celtic tiger boom.

It isn't a cure all, but we know that the rank and file of extremist groups tend to be low education and come from poverty. This isn't a debate, it is numbers and demonstrable.

Not sure if this was causal though - a perspective is foreign investment felt more secure in investing in Ireland as a result of seeing progress of the troubles in an of itself?
