Kali Helmets

I just got the new Octane.

Oh My Goodness. I went for a spin around the neighborhood. OMG.
Easily the most comfortable helmet I have worn. Ya know, if I ever go skiing again I might wear this.

Let me know if you want one and I’ll find out what the BARF discount is…

Butch stopped by my office with his new lid.

My gosh that thing is light!! Amazing.

If I had not bought a new lid last year I probably would buy one.. and treat myself to a custom paint job.

I have a new Kali Octane carbon helmet. I love it. Best helmet i have ever had. Lightest helmet I have ever had. The most comfortable helmet I have ever had, though I apparently have a Kali head, and some folks have strange skulls. I had Brad fit it to me at the Kali HQ in Morgan Hill.

My current crop of street helmets are the Kali Octane, a Kali Catalyst, a Suomy, and an AGV. I like the Kali Octane the best.

The sound performance is different than other helmets. You can hear the motorcycle better. Ah, you can hear the wind better… though the wind noise is not significant. It just seems to attenuate noise differently than my other helmets. Earplugs are more important I think.

I recently took it up past a buck twenty and there was no lift…

I like this helmet. A lot. Substantial BARF discount if you want one too.

and I just got another Kali dirtbike helmet, the Shiva 3.0 Carbon, and took ot for a ride, albiet on the street.

Oh, my goodness... this is a new standard in lightweight, ventilation, comfort and safety. Best dirtbike helmet I have ever tried.

Ah, the carbon helmets seem to have different acoustics from fiberglass... Earplugs needed at times. The weight thing however, is huge. Much less fatigue on the neck...
