One thing noone mentions that I have seen in the first five pages (yawn) is that if you stay in your lane the line thru the corner sucks on the street. You would ride that corner so different if there was no worry about oncoming traffic. I mean how many lefts can you apex on the street? I dont hardly drag my knee on the track anymore either.

Knee-dragging may have a purpose, but I've got to agree with the thread title... it is, in fact, one of the most unsexy things I've ever seen males do. Track, street, or in a garage on a secured bike. Unsexy any which way.
(and btw: what is it with all these zombie threads? Didn't they die respectable deaths years ago and deserve to rest in peace? I mean, shit... I'll post in a resurrected thread like the rest of y'all... but why'd they get dug up in the first place?)

but seriously - i lean off extra much on the street in ATTEMPT to drag a knee. i've never done it before - and i'd REALLY like to. i only attempt such stupidity when i can see all the way thru the bend before entering the corner. trying to on blind corners, or corners you cant see all the way thru b4 u enter (to check for cars or crap on the road, or decreasing radius) is just stupid and damn near sucidial if u ask me.
perhaps when i finally do drag a knee, i will slow a bit. but i'm not taking any big steps in trying to accomplish it. baby steps all the way is the only way to learn to ride. i REALLY gotta get my ass on the track - i'm SURE then i'll be able to get the knee down - cuz i've gotta be REALLY close now....
