these days, i've seen so many people with titanium kneepucks dragging their knees on public roads just to get sparks and attention that its become amusing and annoying more than inspiring. the size of the titanium kneepucks are so huge, theyre like training wheels and i for one am not impressed, especially when their cornering speed isn't that great, their angle of lean is exaggerated, and theyre hanging off so much that in emergency situtation, theyve used up any options and more than often, anyone can take the same corner without dragging anything.
powersliding is an artform in itself where it shows the rider's ability to control the bike, momentum, and throttle input. i can slide the rear in the dirt ( no kidding ) but at low speeds, whereas i've seen great dirt riders and roadracers carry speeds sliding the rear which i only come close playing video games.
the ones that can drag their knees and slide the rear at the same time are awesome, to say the least
