Knee high sock recommendations

i have some “extreme fit” brand compression socks. i like the support especially on hotter summer days. i’ve had mine for almost five years now and they’re in great shape.

This reminds me, I lost a set on this trip, but always carry two. I have the Axial compression socks from Cycle Gear and I have been very happy with them. I swap them for snowboarding socks in cold weather, but otherwise they are my go to for any ride.

i have a pair of unworn compression socks for you. they’re a manly magenta color.

I've liked the comfort/softness of the Comfort Products compression stockings but have been very impressed with the fit and durability of the Copper Fit brand (just not as soft/plush as the Comfort Fit brand).

Always and forever a SmartWool fan. The PhDs of socks, engineered not to itch. Somehow they absorb sweat in heat and keep warm in cold. Have compression Knee-highs and all heights of their socks down to anklets. Side note is that my life partner has defaulted to gifting me these for every occasion because he cannot remember my size in anything, yet unchanged for over 35 yrs. Had to ask for a sock-pause due to literal drawer overflow. Also Swift-wick has strong compression socks. Best of luck and ryde on!

Moto Skiveez have some compression socks that I really like but with 19" calves they are tighter compression for me than others. I had Sokz from ADVRider but unfortunately they are no longer and I haven't been able to find them again. Pearly Possums are super comfortable and will most likely be my next go to. SmartWool, as mentioned above, are also great.

Bamboo socks are the answers to all my sock questions and issues.

My question is why the need?? :afm199

Extreme fit has wide calve compression socks. Thank me later.

I’ve tried a couple bamboo but none have fit right. Mid calf socks are a no go, they always fall and become uncomfortable.

Used to buy the just below the knee socks, for work with rubber boots.
I would buy a dozen pair, and wear them 4/5 years to saggy with holes,
and buy another dozen.
I have been buying low cut for the past 20 years, same method.

I just bought a pair of Camel City Mill over the calf work socks. I've only worn them a few times, all hot weather riding. Nice and comfy and they did keep my feet pretty cool. They're a bit pricey @ $28/pair, but they're made in the U.S.A. and I like to support companies that make their products here and employ locals. If they hold up after a lot of wear and washings I'll get a few more.

My go to for the last 8 years or so are the Kennetrek socks. They come In 2 wool thicknesses and one thin nylon version. I wear the medium Canada year round and they last an astonishingly long time!!
