laptop memory anyone?

Anyone knows a good local place to get cheap laptop memory?
I'm looking for a stick of 1GBytes DDR PC2700 Sodimm. Unfortunately, my old lappy doesn't take DDR2 Newegg is selling these old things for around $100 while the newer DDR2's are going for as low as $60 online Any Barfer has connections with a memory manufacturer?

Fry's. They just had a sale on pc2700 sodimms from crucial. 1 GB for 99, with $10 rebate, for a final total of 89 bucks.
