legal recreational pot in CA

Looking at a menu from Laughlin dispensary, between sale stuff @ $15.00, and primo @ $20.00, per gram.
Some show you with a lit magnifying glass and a sniff.

Weed is $5 to $30 a gram. There are already lotsa boutique shit from big name rappers and even ppl like whoopi goldberg offering pot products now
 
I saw signs on the highway last night that said "Drive High, Get a DUI"

I dunno if I'll buy weed with easier access. I rarely smoke it and it's always someone else offering. Never bought any myself. Generally don't do it because I get weird outcomes I don't like sometimes.

At least if I have some rounds of drinks, I know what's gonna happen.

We'll see.

How do you know if I smoked last night, 10 mins ago at my house, in the car before you pulled me over, or 2 weeks ago. It’s still going to be in my system...

My guess is they will pick of the easiest targets. You know the car with smoke billowing from the windows and a scent trail you can smell for two blocks.
 
I've done em. Other drugs too. MJ DUIs aren't as common as alcohol. They're a little harder to prove, but they seem to be on the increase. They're not much different from other drug DUIs.
 
Saliva tests show the presence of THC, and THC stays in your saliva for 3 or 4 hours...about as long as you stay high.

Besides all that, if a cop thinks you're impaired by ANYTHING you're getting DUI. Substance doesn't matter if you show signs of impairment.
 
what if the police draw blood for dui? Weed remains in our system for long time periods.

So with alcohol you blownover a .08 your hosed. How does it work with weed? I get you put a swab in my mouth. Does that mean you can tell I just smoked 4 joints in the past hour. Or I took two drags out of a joint 2 hours ago. A cotton swab is going to tell you if I’m over the limit or not? What’s the limit?

So with alcohol you blow over a .08 you’re hosed. How does it work with weed? I get you put a swab in the mouth. Does that mean you can tell I just smoked 4 joints in the past hour. there are a lot of articles written on the swab test. it detects whether there is the active ingredient of pot -- activated THC, delta-9 THC. --in your saliva.

"Saliva tests enables a screening on a very short detection time period. They are designed to tell if someone has recently used a drug, but not whether that person use drugs more or less regularly. They answer the question: "have this person smoked marijuana during the last 4-6 hours, or any other drug during the last 24-48h ?"

I wish pot got ppl high all the time for 4-6hours.

Some ppl doing concentrates version of weed in dab form - get high for like 20 mins till they gets to dab again.

Same amount, 1 person high for hours and another barely 1/4 or 1/5th of a hour.

i do not think there is a standard set yet.

it depends where you are located and if they use a saliva test at all.

i pasted the link on the NarcoCheck THC test in post #93 just to give an example of what it is. This test will be positive if the saliva sample shows a THC level above 25 ng/ml. i am not saying that this is The test that the CHP uses.

The Dräger DrugTest 5000 machine used DUI checkpoints in San Diego can give an analysis in less than 5 mins by increasing the THC cut-off to 25 ng/ml after updating the software, so the cut-off limit can be adjusted on devices.

"A positive result will likely send the driver to a police phlebotomist for a blood test to determine precise drug levels."

I don't know anything about this. But if this is true, it would seem like a good type of test to help support under the influence, or lack thereof.
