Now don't put your phone in your rear pocket.
I lost a phone from a mount on my LC4 once on the bay bridge once. I dunno if RAM makes them any more, but it was one of those universal ratcheting mounts, not an X-Grip. The vibes from a big thumper were too much. Luckily, that phone was a piece of garbage & had a bad habit of freezing up at inopportune times.
I actually also had a phone pop out of an X-Grip too. But that was because I had either lost (or had stolen) 2 out of the 4 rubber pads that go on the X-Grip "fingers." I hit a pothole & the phone popped out. Luckily it was on a surface street. Unluckily, as soon as I stopped & pulled over, I'm 99% sure I saw the car that ran over it jerk their wheel specifically so they'd hit it.
Ended up cracking the screen & I needed to get a new phone.

Isn't everything you need, or think you need, on your phone?
