Love and Mercy is a biography about Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys. I saw the movie last night and really liked it. I've read a couple of books on the Beach Boys and this one really holds true on the sad but triumphant life that Brian Wilson had. I highly recommend to any music fans.

He was played by two different actors, one for him in the sixties and one for him in the eighties. He's still alive although both his brothers have passed.

Dano looks the part, but I have a hard time buying this guy as Wilson... how did he do?

It's a pretty fascinating story, and Brian Wilson's genius is undeniable, one run through "Pet Sounds" will tell you that.

Great acting, awesome story, I highly recommend it.
