That's shitty. I hope he's able to recover some of what he's lost.
 
Terrible for Lyndon Poskitt and for ALTA. Remember, many ALTA Motors staff are BARFers.

Lyndon's latest update is that they were able to track the plates of the van that stole his gear and apparently the bikes have been spotted in the area where the van is registered.

I think social media is the only thing that solve this in time for Erzberg.

That sux I saw his instagram and facebook post this morning. Said he was gone for 6 minutes and all the stuff was gone when they came back :(
 
Yeah, the thieves in England are apparently super pro. Fuckers.

I was hopeful that the 5000GBP reward would be worth more to them than two bikes they can't sell or part out, but that didn't work. We may get them back someday, but it won't be in time for the prologue on Friday and unfortunately with the holiday weekend, we couldn't even airship him replacements in time. Not giving up yet though, we're trying to piece together another bike for him from some super awesome customers (seriously, amazing) who snuck bikes over to Europe. It's all hands on deck, and I'm still hopeful we'll see him on the starting line.

I often work with a shipper who does some crazy shit for us. Hit me up via PM if you want their contact. Might be able to get a carnet sorted for a Friday delivery. Long shot for sure, but I do production all over the world with this shipper.
 
It sounds like he is going to riding Eric's bike. Number 005. The first ever bike built and release to the public, also the bike that beat Carmichael. The one KTM blackballed from the ISDE... A BARFer's bike! A bike with cool history.
