You know, black Ford F150 on Farmer's Lane headed North at 7:45am with the all of the Harley bling. . .

When I pull up next to you and mention to you that if you ride, you should know better than to blow a red light, especially that late (our left turn just turned yellow for f*** sake.). . .

the appropriate response should be "oops" or "yeah, you are right," not to laugh and tell me "I didn't want to wait five minutes for the next light"
(a light that cycles every two minutes on a school day).

I hope you don't mind if I laugh at the karmic retribution when your stupid, sorry ass gets taken out by a red light runner.

The Harley package found on Ford trucks is atracative to people who wish they rode, but don't.
I am not surprised by the reaction.

Evil black trucks are evil

I see you expected a different result from lecturing someone in traffic. When they didn't take your sagely advice, you wish them dead. Win-win :laughing

We should all take a breather. It's just traffic.

You don't understand, this was not your average red light runner just trying to make a light.
This fucktard entered during a yellow turn signal from my side.

I don't wish him dead by any manner of means, but I do hope that he learns the hard, painful way.
It's not "just traffic."
People like him KILL motorcyclists, and as a rider, he SHOULD know better. Period.

I see. Yup, I can understand you were upset. Good thing you were alert and avoided contact.

At that time of day, on that road, during the work week, it's amazing he didn't hit something or several somethings.

Writing down the license and having the cops possibly knock on his door for a verbal warning might have been more effective, (Santa Rosa cops used to do that 20 years ago if they got a report of reckless driving...not sure they do today though).

Him, to me as I split up to the front at a light, and he's got MAJOR attitude, plus he's yelling.

"STOP DOING THAT!" (I'm assuming he meant splitting lanes).

Me, with the same amount of attitude, right back at him. "GO FUCK YOURSELF!". And I'm right next to his window and leaning in on him. And he wouldn't make eye contact or even look at me.

Don't try to tell other people how to ride or drive. If its that big a deal to you, call the cops, although I seriously doubt if they would do shit about it.

Did he almost hit you or anyone else Tim?

Fortunately, EVERYBODY at the light saw that this douchebag wasn't slowing down, so none of us were in grave danger of being hit. I caught his truck as I was looking through a vehicle's windshield while I was coming out of a lane split, so I had time to slow as well.

As angry as I was, I was even very polite to him when I told him that as a rider, he should know better.

Having a Harley badged Ford truck does not mean he has a bike. As a matter of fact, probably half the people I see out there riding, no matter what style or kind of bike, have no clue anyway.

Not everyone is an enthusiast/accomplished rider/student of riding. Some people don't care to get better. Some people don't notice other bikes. Some people don't belong to Barf. Some people just ride because its fairly cheap transportation. Others just for the image. I would assume that most of the members here are enthusiasts, accomplished riders, or wish to become accomplished riders. But we're probably in the minority.

I thought "M4 Douchbag" was going to be a threat about a neighbor with the slip on exhaust, 4 a.m., etc. . . . .

This was not a Harley Davidson edition F150, it was a standard F150 with a bunch of the Harley toiletries on it, license plate frame, subdued sticker on the rear window, various other crap that if he doesn't actually own a Harley, then he is a Superdouche, and quite possibly sterile.

I must be getting old.
I still believe that people should own the f*** up to their mistakes, and try to become better human beings instead of self-absorbed dickwads.

+1

But being the victim of getting hit 2 years ago, by a kid who with no license or insurance who couldn't wait until I was through an intersection to make his left turn...good on ya for saying something. Whether he heard or didn't hear, hope he's thinking about it now.
