Have them on my residence and rentals for easy key exchanges. Flexibility in letting people in for 1-time or short vacation durations.

One Key.

Multiple keys means multiple possibilities to lose a key and allow them access.
 
I carry a "master" key that can operate all the locks, and have a separate key that can only open the doorknobs.

If I need to let someone in the house when I'm not there, they get the doorknob key, and I don't lock the deadbolt.

Locks don't matter much to me. Thieves are mainly deterred by the possibility that someone might be home. So don't announce your vacation plans on Facebook.

one key,my local ace hardware will do this for a nominal fee if you bring them the locks
 
I re-keyed 3 entrances to 1 key. The only useful thing I learned working at Home Depot. Schlage is better than Kwikset.
 
Baldwin locks are fancy if you want to spend the money
 
all of our locks are on the same key. but none of our door handles have locks on them - the only locks are the deadbolts.

other thing is, we replaced all of our doors with super heavy ones (same dude who installed them rebuilt all of the frames super solid prior to installation - would take a massive effort to bust them in).

Yeah, I'm going to have all of mine reframed to ensure security.
 
At one time I had the front door, back door, my office and shop at work all on one key. I thought life was great.

That video is almost 5 years old. Just read the newer comments. Kwikset has modified the lock and has addressed this security concern.

As has already been stated, door locks keep honest people honest. If someone wants to enter, they'll get in - doesn't matter what lock you have on the door.
 
I had all of the locks changed when I bought my house. I use 1 key for them all.

If anyone tries to break in to my home they will have to deal with their ferociousness!!!!
