Yeah I'd spit it out if I bit into a pickle 🤢🤮

The one good thing that came out of covid for me was the restaurant shutdown getting me out of my habit of drinking a coke with my meal. It was just once a week when I went out to eat on a Saturday but that couple of months not eating out broke the habit. No soft drinks in five years.
 
I’ll have a Diet Coke once in a long while. But I do drink those various flavored sodas that have a bit of vodka in them.
 
If you want top notch meats and absolutely amazing sausages, check out Dittmers on El Camino in Los Altos.

Guilty as charged as one of those 'some people'. Then again, my family thinks me a picky eater. I have a child's tongue. Don't smoke, Don't drink. Don't drink scalding hot coffee. Don't put that sheet (hot sauce) on everything. Therefore, I can still taste part/million of spices. Have just graduated to sprinkling a few flakes of pepper on my food. Once discovering that beef jerky often contained garlic, added a few grains of granulated garlic to my stroganoff mix.

And, I've noticed 'some people' seem to be in the majority, when I look at the supermarket shelves after holidays, the Super Bowl and like days of mass consumption.

Wavy Lays, Lipton's Onion Soup Mix, Knuden's sour cream? Gone from the shelves! Mtn. Dew? That too. I could go on. Is it right? Nutritionally? Nope.

But I'm happy. Fat and happy. I might die tomorrow. Happy.
 
If--or is it when--Soylent Green protocols are a necessary evil, I will be USDA Choice. They may refer to me as,

Soylent Butterbill- more kcals per cracker!

So, Ricky, that'll turn the they that want me into the they that eat me!

Well, poor nutrition leads to brain fog and cognitive decline, so... :twofinger

I eat McDonald's stateside maybe once or twice a year, when I was in Taiwan I ate it like 2x+ a week, their food had way better choice/selections and alternating specials, don't mention it was still like $4 USD conversion for a full combo meal

It tasted miles better then USA McDonald's
 
I went to McDonald's in Europe, which is a a very "not me" thing to do. I hate McDonald's. But I also have heard it's different and better overseas. I don't recall if this was in Austria or Germany, but probably Germany. It was horrible. I asked my German cousin about it and she said they are actually worse there than in the US. I could have had another schnitzel but wasted it on a goddamn Royale with cheese.
