Mechanics tool set

A set is $1000 for the nice ones lol

That kobalt set with the flex head and 90 teeth for $55 is looking awfully nice lol. Course it's missing a few less common sizes.

Have you bought one in the past 3-4 years? They’ve slipped a bit.

I bought Matco ratcheting wrenches when they first came out. What like 20+ years ago or so. And yup they are great.

Broke one a few years ago and had to warranty it. New ones are mad of Chinesium.

I just bought a couple of large flex head offset units. 21/22 and 24/25. I've already beaten on them a bit and they feel solid. Time will tell.

I do have a set of their OG ratcheting wrenches and they do kick ass.

Mine are about 6 years old too.

Yeh, I don't mind spending up to around $350 and I do have limited space so it won't be one of the big ones.

Thanks for tips, all, about bearings and removeable. I hate drawers that are hard to remove. Usually they are but you have to figure out how, at least in office furniture and kitchen cabinetry.

I saw the ones with the hinged top and the "bay". Not sure I wouldn't clutter that right up....

FYI, this weekend Harbor Freight has their 10% off no exclusions/20% off (inside track club) for single items. Their tool chests are usually excluded from coupons. You can occasionally find them on sale for ~10% off without this coupon so the ITC may be the way to go, I don't know. If you don't have a coupon they can usually be found here: https://www.hfqpdb.com/. They usually accept digital coupons. Heads up.
