I'm 32. Say it's $800mil pot. Lump Sum is $436mil - uncle sam's fee is $280mil in the bank.

Or
$280mil in the bank collecting 10% interest minus taxes is an actra $16mi per year.

I buy land and lots of it not in my name. Pay off house and take care of family and close friends....then go off the grid somewhere.
 
With that much money, you'd have to disappear. Can't imagine all the long lost people crawling out of the woods for a piece of that.

i'd keep ten million- a million each for myself, mom, brother and seven closest friends and give the rest to chariteedeedeedeeee
 
I'd take a lump some for sure and as you said, put it in the bank and live off the interest.

I'd also help my family with their debts, pour some money into my dad's company or give him money to retire on.

I'd buy a home, new car, motorcycle and anything else I wanted.

I'd also fund that dude with the moto gp bucket list and join him.

One of my best friends and I have a pact I'd have to fulfill. It involves matching black on black RUF RT12s with "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" plates. Purchase also involves insurance, taxes, maintainence, court/lawyers fees and bail.

Everyone who cares to throws in a buck, we buy that many tickets, split the winnings evenly.

Imagine the mayhem a hundred BARFers blowing through ten million each could cause.

I really see that as way too much money. It would become a job to maintain them. F that.
Anything over 20mil seems completely unnecessary to me. Realistically 10mil invested right would allow me and my close family to live awesome worry free "do what you want when you want it" lives.
 
I'd donate most of it. That kind of money can ruin your life. I'd keep about 10-20mil to myself and call it a day.
