Messing Around While Riding

So perhaps we can all simply agree to disagree on this issue. Obviously, it would be VERY ill-advised to horse around with anyone unless there issufficient riding skill, strong mutual trust and there is no chance that either party will have a strong negative reaction/take offense. i.e. i.e. I won't killswitch, bump, joke around with you unless I know in advance what your reaction will be.

Agreed?

kill switch, yeah. the rest, nope. Only time I've ever seen or heard of messing with the keys other than the OP's story is for keeping a drunk/dangerous rider off the road or the intent to seriously injure the rider for "revenge".

Exactly, mean dad. Reminds me of that shitty Kelly Clarkson song about never walking too far from the sidewalk. As previously stated, there is a time and place, and the trust has to be there. Sure, if someone from whom I wasn't expecting it did that to me, there would be hell to pay. If it's my brother, I would just get him back later while laughing my ass off. Lighten up and live a little, folks.

Know how I know you're gay?

When I was a kid I saw a girl get pushed into a pool, she hit the bottom and was paraylized.
All through my school years I watched her struggle with everyday life, the guy that did the pushing ended up moving shortly after.
What a burden that would have been to live with! do I still prank YES just not at a severe level and only with those that are like minded with it.

jesus christ dude, are you a special needs child?

:facepalm

love the way you gloss over this gem:

I was using extreme, ridiculous views to challenge ST's (and others') extreme views to show that a scenario can be made dangerous in anyone's mind.
Equating riding along next to someone and reaching over and killing their motorcycle to a solid chance at death for your poor unsuspecting brethren is beyond ludicrous.

oh, and nbean? please, show me where I said anyone rides scared. pretty sure you're confusing me with someone else. normally not a big deal, but since you threw in the "makes me look none too bright", you can fuck off, too. :twofinger

I wrote that he rode "scared".

Look, my original post was that my buddies and I fuck with each other, a whole bunch to be completely honest, and asked if other guys do it, I suspect they do. Well, someone equated this to dying, well, if it bothers you, don't do it. All of the sudden, everybody is at risk, we're all stupid, idiotic, everyone is going to die, etc., etc. Insults, innuendo (in-your-end-o), cactus suppositories, people getting all butthurt (literally and figuratively!), people all highly offended, and well shit, I'm glad I didn't ask about sexual preferences.

Ain't life grand?

I'm not a Doctor, I just play one in a machine shop.

I will never turn off your bike if you are near a swimming pool, and I will use extreme caution around the ocean also.

Edited due to my inability to read a post correctly. Apologies.

Last Friday on the Vampire Hooligan ride dude next to me at a light tried to snag and toss my keys. He got the engine off but I was able to hold onto them.

The next day I Vampired Proffed them and sure enough another on of those bastards tried to take them but was denied :D

You should have seen the look on James's face when he tried to take them at the Perg. he just said "ah, well played sir" and walked off dejected.

lol, I know, I was right next to you. :laughing funny shit.
we had our keys zippy tied on the naked ride so the popo couldn't snatch 'em.

Going through tunnels, when your bud is behind you, turn off your kill switch for a sec, then back on, for a BOOM backfire that's sure to get your friend's attention.

Do a standing burnout on track after an AFM race, and Barb would have your guts for garters.

Having met Barb, I have no doubt of it, though the thought does create a disturbing image in my mind.

Only if you are riding with girls.
You just get better and better, corndog... :rofl

Last time I rode with someone interested in pranks was the early 90s; he was a fiend for hitting the kill switch, messing with your shifter, et cetera. Cruise night in downtown Salinas, approaching a pack of spectator, he reached over to hit my kill switch, maybe take my keys, I'm not sure what...

Long story short he was so intent on messing with me that he hit some obstruction in the road, swerved, and highsided over the curb right into the spectators. All low speed, no injuries except to his pride and his ride.

He never played at that again.

I knew a dude that crashed while riding in a straight line. He rode again. :dunno
