Monster Ride 06.04.05

AWww.I didn't know of any Monster ride. Awww..I'm a new Monster lover. Maybe I'll catch you guys out next time.

Here's a link for the local chapter of the ducati monster list in case you haven't heard of us. You can keep up on what we're up to if you check the threads from time to time. We're currently planning some sort of camping trip for one of our guys who's itchin' to get some time out of the house and there's another fellow coming up from the L.A. area who wants to ride around Alice's next weekend maybe. We'll be working out the details shortly. One doesn't have to be a member to join our rides--one doesn't even have to own a Monster or a Ducati or even anything Italian. It's nice if a person does because we tend to help each other out with the wrenching and parts and knowledge, etc. It's more beneficial to a person if s/he has the same kind of bike as everyone else. Just a general statement--I know that you own a monster. :thumbup

A group of us dissenters decided against the All-Italian ride in lieu of a more intimate gathering. We headed up to Alice's, cruised around, managed to avoid nearly all 5-0 attention, did manage to avoid any tickets, stopped for lunch at the coast, ran into the BudBandit Saturday ride three separate times. :laughing

Don't worry, the 5-0 was stuck in a ditch on 9.:laughing

I helped them get unstuck though.

Hey - we're really not elistist, but it's funny making everyone think we are.

You guys do a good job, I saw the dirty looks you guys gave my "rice" ....:x

What's cool about the Monster rides is rolling through little towns with massive twin and dry clutch rumble. Plus, tasteful mods are encouraged and appreciated ;)

sucky - couldn't make it

Damn...wish I could have joined this ride. Gettin some work done at Nichols this weekend.

I'll keep my eyes open for the next one.

Hey I resemble that...

OCT 2004 - Debating between a brutale or S4R
NOV 2004 - Sat on the S2R monster
DEC 2004 till APR 2005 - Waited for delivery
APR 2005 till the time I wrote this e-mail - Waiting for all the damn upgrade parts !!!!!!!!

Can you beat that ? I have a bike with less than 100 miles on my garage on pieces :cry

It's not about the bike--it's about the mentality. Come with us...we'd love to have you on whatever vehicle you choose to pilot. We only ask that you have a slight affinity for all things Italian, especially bikes. ;)

He heh he, maybe I can try to go with another bike. It all started because I refuse to ride a bike that does not have GP shifting.
