Riding like a boss..!

Awsome shot. Compliments to the Photog! This kid is gonna be a beast. The sat bikes are getting up to speed nicely; and the Ducs are just about where I figured they would be. Nicky is less than 2 off the pace. Not bad really for bikes that I believe are more GP12s than GP13s.

I reckon it is. They are gonna have to get this kid elbow pucks! :laughing I have seen Stefan do that as well. Pretty amazing stuff, man.

looks like Yamaha ditched their fairing nose doo-dads just as soon as Honda copied them

Colin Edwards improving now to just about 0.4 seconds faster than Bryan Staring on the Go & Fun Honda Gresini

OK, my long shot bet is for Brad Smith to beat Marquez in Qatar. In that testing footage video mm doesn't seem to be picking up the bike at all. So maybe he'll be hard on tires and fade late in the race, and scholastic Smith will do better at that.

You don't think him and his crew are going to do race simulations before Qatar?

Day 2 times.

Race simulations vs race craft complete 180. I suspect MM will have a crash heavy rookie year that will include ZERO wins.

Of course, but so are practice and qualifying sessions versus race day. But every session before race day is all about finding setups to help them work and last the race distance.

Who is gonna pay for that?

He is still riding it like a Moto2 bike. His style is not mature.
Ah, you mean smooth, like Jorge, or like Dani use to ride until last year? He is learning the electronics. He has said so. I imagine it takes awhile to trust the ECU over your right wrist. If you are correct, however, the field has something serious to worry about, considering his actual time on a MotoGP bike.

The sad thing is the guy used to be a top 5 competitor, teamates with Rossi and, now gets consecutive last place finishes. Its a crying shame.:(

here are Colin's current sad details:

21. Hiroshi Aoyama JPN Avintia (FTR-Kawasaki CRT)* 2m 5.919s (47/48)
22. Hector Barbera ESP Avintia (FTR-Kawasaki CRT)* 2m 5.944s (27/31)
23. Danilo Petrucci ITA IodaRacing (Suter-BMW CRT)* 2m 6.207s (12/15)
24. Claudio Corti ITA Forward (FTR-Kawasaki CRT)* 2m 6.426s (29/34)
25. Michael Laverty GBR Paul Bird Motorsport (ART CRT) 2m 6.871s (33/39)
26. Lukas Pesek CZE IodaRacing (Suter-BMW CRT)* 2m 7.015s (40/46)
27. Bryan Staring AUS Honda Gresini (FTR-Honda CRT)* 2m 7.044s (33/41)
28. Colin Edwards USA Forward (FTR-Kawasaki CRT)* 2m 8.206s (24/25)
* Control ECU.

I'd say being over a second behind rookie Pesek on 2012's dodgy BMW's even worse news.....

the next day's results tell a similar tale:

18. Danilo Petrucci ITA IodaRacing (Suter-BMW CRT)* 2m 4.284s (47/48)
19. Takumi Takahashi JPN Honda Test Rider (RC213V) 2m 4.559s (41/44)
20. Hiroshi Aoyama JPN Avintia (FTR-Kawasaki CRT)* 2m 4.786s (23/32)
21. Hector Barbera ESP Avintia (FTR-Kawasaki CRT)* 2m 4.989s (15/28)
22. Karel Abraham CZE Cardion AB (ART CRT) 2m 5.028s (12/54)
23. Michael Laverty GBR Paul Bird Motorsport (ART CRT) 2m 5.417s (13/31)
24. Claudio Corti ITA Forward (FTR-Kawasaki CRT)* 2m 5.721s (21/22)
25. Yonny Hernandez COL Paul Bird Motorsport (ART CRT) 2m 5.837s (27/36)
26. Colin Edwards USA Forward (FTR-Kawasaki CRT)* 2m 6.205s (22/23)
27. Bryan Staring AUS Honda Gresini (FTR-Honda CRT) 2m 6.898s (22/33)
28. Lukas Pesek CZE IodaRacing (Suter-BMW CRT)* 2m 21.512s (12/14)
* Control ECU.

note Petrucci's 5-spot improvement from yesterday on his version of Colin's 2012 beast - at least Colin bettered yesterday with his 2-spot swap with Pesek.....

I swear, when I look at the top of his helmet, it makes me think of this:

Pay for it? What do you mean? They've got more than a handful of testing dates left before Qatar to do race simulations in.
