I'm getting back into modeling/CAD and I think it would be really cool if I could make up some customizations for motorcycles. Is there a website or a resource I can use to download pre-made CAD or 3D models of existing motorcycles so I can modify/texture them?

Google used to have a free program called Sketchup that was made to crowdsource models for google earth, and a website called Sketchup Warehouse with a billion free models. The software was pretty simple to use and versatile. I believe they sold it off but the website's still around. https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com

Don't know of any, but a lot will depend upon the types of file formats you need.

Sketchup is still out there and a pretty awesome/powerful program. I've never looked for any motorcycles in the warehouse, though.

There's a couple of good ones on 3d warehouse, the 6th gen VFR in particular.

Apart from that you could check out TurboSquid ( $$$$ ) formfonts (subscription based) and / or 3dOcean (new kid on the block, fairly cheap).

Get Solidworks and design one from scratch.

When i worked for an interior design firm i would be sitting there on my laptop with floor and ceiling plans i made in 3d, dragging tables and chairs from warehouse since a lot of the ylighting/herman miller/cb etc has been already made and scaled. Or if we were going to have someone like Ohio Design custom build a Table/cubicle we could do it on the fly, figure out how many we needed for the floor plan in 3d and see how it looked when scaled up. It was nice having a live visual representation mid discussion. Render it in Vray and show interiors to clients on the fly too. I now have a store on http://3docean.net if you want to buy premium models check it out.
