:wow

You don't see that very often. Quite the price paid for a ticket.

:rip car people.

"...The motorcycle collided with an uninvolved vehicle on Redlands Boulevard near Tennessee Street. The motorcyclist and both occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene."

I wasn't there, but sure sounds pretty fucking involved...

This brings up the debate “should PD chase drivers/criminals putting the public at risk, or should they not”.
In this case 3 people would still be alive if there had been no chase.

I’m not trying to turn this into a political discussion.

What should be done if someone stole your motorcycle and was seen but not pursued?

:rose :rose

I’ll probably never post this again but sheesh, that poor driver and passenger. this is fucked.

No debate at all. Instead; people should not run from police. Bring the hammer down on those that do & PIT sooner.

The methods currently employed are antiquated. Often these chases escalate well beyond in terms of speed and recklessness, and you end up with multiple chase vehicles, exponentially increasing public risk.

Motorcycle is inside the car!

In the red asphalt days, PD brought a car on campus in the same situation. It was a red car and the bike was nicely tucked inside, fully contained. It came through the top-side door and window.

Unfortunately these crashes aren't uncommon.

2020 in Reno. IIRC, other images showed 2 (empty) child-seats in the back seat. Mother was leaving the daycare after dropping off the kids.

Probably the most recognized one:
