Moving on up...

Omg what a pansy...you should have gotten a Hayabusa! ;)

Oh, and the Concours. The misses would really like the Concours. :)

I drove a paper route in the woods up in Washington. Imagine Palomares road, but tighter, made of dirt, and 24 miles long. At 3am. Drifted that bitch through the bushes rally-style until both rear quarter panels were showing primer, three nights a week.

Sounds like somewhere on the west side. Where?

You coming on the Tasty Twisty ride Saturday?

Congrats on the new bike! Moving to a bike that lets you feel comfortable and confident for the types of riding you do is always a good thing. Sometimes that's a smaller bike, and sometimes that's a bigger bike :ride

Looking forward to the pics :thumbup

The other plus is that my fiance isn't complaining that her ass hurts anymore. :laughing

So you finally started using lube? :twofinger

Seriously, congrats on the new bike. It sounds like the 250 served its purpose. You were able to identify the type of bike that you needed to match your riding conditions. So where are those pics of the bike?

Without a doubt, bro. I'm kind of smitten with the Kawi Green now. :D

AW YEAH! I just went from an '02 250 to an '08 650, both green green green.

I saw another brand new green 650R on Foothill Expy the other day, could it have been you? I gave that rider a big ol' thumbs up.

On the note of Jason's upgrade to a 650r, I like to add my introduction to ownership of a motorcycle, as I bought his 250r. :teeth

I put 2-3 odd miles on it yet and I am looking forward to picking up skills a day at a time.

:ride

Sweet! Now update your User Details :cool

...... I went ahead and sold the 250R ....
For the curious, Jason, can you please share the following on the '08 250 sale?

  • - Did you sell it to a private party, or trade it in?

    - If you sold it to a private party, how much did you get for it?

    - If you traded it in, how much did they give you towards the 650?

Thanks, from a fellow '08 Ninja 250 owner. :)

P.S. You're gonna miss the little green baby!! :laughing

I do miss it already! But it's in good hands. :thumbup

I sold it private party to another BARF'r, "flawed_genius",

I got $3900 for it which isn't bad considering I payed $4200 for it.

If I would've traded it, I would've gotten $3100

I'm running downstairs to take pictures now...

From 3 miles to 100 miles in less than 24 hours...WOO HOO! :thumbup :D

The mysterious and elusive rear seat key hole. I swear it took me 30 minutes to find this stupid thing! :thumbdown :laughing
