Music, post it up

OK, that was amazing. Not my cup of tea musically, but her ability to shift vocal ranges with such ease is incredible.

That clip from Ukraine's Got Talent reminded me of one of my current favorite bands, Otyken:

Chudahye is the singer. She combines Traditional Korean songs with a modern rhythm section. Pretty great combo.

Perpetual Change...released on The YES Album...1971

I see the cold mist in the night
And watch the hills roll out of sight
I watch in every single way
Inside out, outside in
Every day
The sun can warm the coldest dawn
And move the movement on the lawn
I learn in every single day
Inside out, outside in
Every way
And there you are
Making it up that you're sure that it is a star
When all you see
Is an illusion shining down in front of me...............................................Important lyrics...Written by Jon and Chris Squire (Real name Christopher Russell Edward Squire...bass player extraordinaire

And then you say
Even in time we shall control (the) day
When what you see
Deep inside the day's controlling you and me

And one peculiar point I see
As one with many ones of me
As truth is gathered, I rearrange
Inside out, outside in
Inside out, outside in
Perpetual change
And there you are
Saying we have the moon, so now the stars
When all you see
Is near disaster gazing down on you and me
And there you're standing
Saying we have the whole world in our hands
When all you see
Deep inside the world's controlling you and me
Who'll see perpetual change
You'll see perpetual change
And there you are
Making it up that you're sure that it is a star
When all you see
Is an illusion shining down in front of me
And then you say
Even in time we shall control day
When all you see
Deep inside the day's controlling you and me
As mist and sun are both the same
We look on as pawns of their game
They move to testify the day
Inside out, outside in
Inside out, outside in
All of the way

Here's a NEW version...
Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks...https://frontiers-us.shop/products/jon-anderson-the-band-geeks-live-perpetual-change-cd-dvd?srsltid=AfmBOoo5J8O9w4Ufw9rOSm83e3WZrItvSbjkYBOxaTGNJ0IaanV8TGjT...Oh sorry...SOLD OUT
consists of Jon Anderson on vocals and other instruments, with Richie Castellano on bass, guitar, keyboards, and vocals, Andy Ascolese on drums, and Chris Clark on keyboards. Other members include Andy Graziano on guitar and vocals and Robert Kipp on Hammond organ and vocals. They are known for performing Yes classics and new material, with Castellano playing a prominent role in both production and performance.
Castellano only played bass at this show...but they had THREE guitarists and TWO keyboard players...Just to cover Steve and Rick (Wakeman)...Or Tony Kaye on this song.

greener (Dave Marandino) and I went to see them in Oakland a few months back...I splurged on the tickets, 2nd row center ($250)...right behind Jane, Jon's wife.
He sings most of the songs TO HER...but I didn't know that until the break...So it seemed like he was SINGING TO ME.
It was incredible...my 83rd time seeing some variation of YES...Jon is 80...I'm thinking this tour is his swan song.
I wish him and Steve Howe could mend the bad blood and give us fans what we want...but, oh well.

Enjoy

But...PLEASE GO LISTEN TO THE ORIGINAL

Bill Bruford's drumming on that is fucking incredible.

And don't even get me started on Steve Howe's guitar.
