She's a real big fan..."In" the beginning...LOL

From The Beginning

There might have been things I missed
But don't be unkind
It don't mean I'm blind
Perhaps there's a thing or two
I think of lying in bed
I shouldn't have said
But there it is
You see it's all clear
You were meant to be here
From the beginning
Maybe I might have changed
And not been so cruel
Not been such a fool
Whatever was done is done
I just can't recall
It doesn't matter at all
You see it's all clear
You were meant to be here
From the beginning

From "Trilogy" 1972

"Consisting of King Crimson bassist Greg Lake,
The Nice keyboardist Keith Emerson,
and The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Atomic Rooster drummer Carl Palmer,
Emerson, Lake & Palmer is a 1970s SUPERGROUP that has been hailed as a major force for the progressive rock genre by many.
Influenced by symphonic and jazz music, the band has inspired many artists ranging from popular heavy metal group
Iron Maiden to neo-progressive rock icon Dream Theater."

My first concert...California Jam, at Ontario Motor Speedway...April 6, 1974.
I was 12...Keith Emerson strapped to his Grand Piano...then raises up and starts spinning...blew my mind.
The line-up was good...
Tickets were 10 and 15 dollars.
KLOS FM (then owned and operated by ABC) promoted and broadcast the concert around Los Angeles.

Good times.

:teeth

Dan Rather sent this to me

Way cool

My goodness, what an awesome thread.
Usually, I say, getting sucked into the black hole of a computer screen is unhealthy. This thread is healthy.
