Music while commuting

Weird how that works. If for some reason I don't have music, such as if my Sena battery dies, my mind tends to wander and I end up not paying attention to riding. I listen to music 100% of the time I ride.

This is my exact experience as well. I suspect that I might suffer from some mild ADHD and it is very easy for me to become distracted by my surroundings. Music helps me focus both while I'm working, as well as when I'm riding.

So Ive always rode sport bikes and only occasionally would ride to work. I just bought a 1250 GS which is also much quieter then any of my sport bikes I've had with full Akra exhausts. So I decided to try music and I love it. Even for my short 25-30 min commute, it is awesome. I found a nice pair of bluetooth earplugs and can still get my helmet to slide over with them in my ears. Its a game changer. lol

Seems to me, used enthusiastically, earbuds are specifically designed for the exact opposite.

I didn't cherry pick, I posted the relevant paragraph that allows riders to wear earplugs.
Earbuds are not the same as Bluetooth ear plugs.

After reading your post I checked for plugfones on amazon. Have you had any issues with the plugs pulling out due to fact that the wire sticks strait out from the plug as opposed to leaving the plug at a 90 degree bend?

Probably about the same way most here including myself interpret CVC 22350

- I don't like muffled music (in-helmet speakers are awful, IMO)
- Sports style (over the ear hooks, form fitted, etc) all pulled out, at least partially, when I put my helmet on)

To my surprise and delight, plugfones don't pull out when you put your lid on and it would take a pretty hard tug to pull them out once the lid is on. They stay in and provide a great sound barrier while providing decent audio quality (for a cheap set of earphones)

Excellent! i see they also make a blue tooth set. I'm interested for the same reasons you posted. Ordering a set. Hope Amazon doesn't chump your commission
