Wow.... Hymas on the 450 in the MXGP class? All three riders prefer, and have performed historicaly, better on softer rutted eastern tracks. Ernee is like a baked SoCal track. This could be a tough year.
I wonder putting Hymas on the 450 has more to do with HRC Honda having a 450 ready, where as Mitch Peyton's Pro Circuit Kawi's only field 250s? Kitchen is also a significantly bigger rider than Hymas too.... I wish him the best in the MXGP class this year at MxDn, but feel he is going to get swallowed up in a tallented Euro field. Webb has probably the best chance of some decent finishes in the Open class, and if Kitchen gets a start, and is feeling it... could run up towards the front in MX2.
Love they are going, will support, and cheer for them regardless! They made the choice to be available, and represent us.

WIth the Lawrence brothers also out this year, I feel confident in calling the podium. Belgium, France, and Spain, in no particular order. USA, with a good showing, could perhaps land just off the podium in 4th if they can beat out the Netherlands. Will be a great show, and looking forward to seeing them surprise me!
If I need to put a nickle on it as SFMC John would say, my nickle is on Belgium winning. Coenen brothers rock! Though the yet to be announced French team will be hard to beat on the hardpack and at home. Spain, with all the star power, will under perform in third.
