Doesn't have Firestone's on it, does it?

I like those. My neighbor has a totally murdered out Sport model. If I ever needed a 3 row SUV, I think I'd sooner go for the Explorer than the MDX.

That's what the CHP around Modesto use along 99.sucks trying to learn the new patrol car profile.

Hope it serves you well :thumbup

Sat in an MDX and the Explorer was way more comfortable to me.

Probably gonna be more reliable too. You'd never guess the MDX is a Honda based on how many problems I'm seeing with them now.

Thought you were going with something smaller like the RDX (which actually is reliable). What happened? Needed more room?

Blah, Blah. Blah. Lets get to the important stuff. Is your dog happy with it?

Comfort. Sitting in the smaller RDX and even the Highlander the drivers side wasn't as roomy for me as I thought they would be. The Explorer was an instant fit the first time I sat in one.

Fords are great trucks. Expect it to be completely trouble free for it's expected lifetime of 152 miles.

(Seriously though, congrats. We have a little ford ranger with 130K on it.)

Ford is not the company they used to be. The ex Boeing CEO has done a great job. I guess just because your last name is Ford, doesn't necessarily make you a good CEO.

Thrilled :thumbup I'm keeping the third row seats down so he has plenty of room and the best part: there's even a/c vents in the very back for him :thumbup

Cool. A guy down the street has one. Nice rig.

Our 2003 has 102,000 miles on it, and it's a HARD 102,000. It's been almost entirely city, stop and go, cart the kids around, carry the dogs in the back, go to Home Despot, tow the bike(s) to the track car. It gets very few highway miles.

After 10+ years it's been a very good car. I've replaced the alternator and this weird plastic manifold for coolant distribution. Those have been the only issues other than regular consumables (oil, tires, etc.)

I would buy another one without any reservation. Like you, the foldable third row seat with rear a\c vents is great for carting the dogs around.

I hope you bought the maintenance package! Seriously my F150 is 15 years old. Goes through brakes pretty quick and just needed some front end work. Other than that its been a good truck. Be careful of the dealership, they tend to lie a lot.
