Hi everyone, :wave

Thought I should introduce myself in here...

I got my 13th bike (1st 4 were enduros: MT250, XL250, KL250 & XL350) - a barely-used '06 DRZ400SM & I'm in love! :love

(Thanks Chi & Mort for corrupting me! ;) )

I bought it 2 weeks ago, and finally got it ride-worthy: lowered it 3-4 inches for my 5'-2" frame - I actually flatfoot in my LadyStar boots!! :applause

I'll be lurking here more often now; thanks for having me! :blush

Had a blast up Black Rd & 9 today:

Lowering included: a dogbone link (www.KoubaLink.com), dropping the front (raising the forks) via bar-risers, shaving the seat and trimming the kickstand (my brother's welding):

Congrats...These little bikes are so much fun!

What's that little red hose thingie on the side of your motor?:confused

Lol - I was waiting for the 1st to notice that! :applause

It's an oxygen sensor thingie the seller mounted so he could monitor & tweak via his palm pilot... :nerd

Bike only had 440 miles when I got it! :cool

Complete your JEDI training, and bring it to Stockton on a monday, or any upcoming weekend trackday there. Then, and only then, will you have successfully come over to the darkest of dARK Sidez...

I have never seen a better pic of a DRZ. I think mebbe the lovely Yanna has something to do with it. :angel

One more pic for the other vertically-challenged riders (I'm 5'-2.5") - yes, I can flatfoot it! :party

:bump as the bike is now officially FOR SALE!!!

I replaced it with an '08 and will leave all the lowering stuff - except the shaved seat - on the old one. It can be re-converted back to stock height within about an hour - I have the original links. (Kickstand may be a tad short afterwards. :laughing)

19,600 mi, well-maintained and ridden gently & smoothly.
Sorry, :kiss decal NOT included! :laughing
3X3 airbox,
jetted,
steel-braided brake lines,
recent valve check & tune-up,
etc.
Asking only $3495 OBO.
