If you were considering gifting a car trackday for someone who has their own track-ready Miata in the LA area, which provider would you go with?

I am familiar with the local motorcycle trackday providers and have attended a few myself. But am completely lost when it comes to cars. Do they even have trackdays for cars (I'm thinking YES!)? This inquiry is for someone who lives in the LA area.

And curious are they similar in format A,B,C group, and in price, $160-$280?
Links to car trackday providers welcome :thumbup
Thanks!

Don't know of any that operate in the LA area.

I've gone to Bonny Weatherwax's stuff and had a great time, ditto Hooked On Driving, NASA days - not so much... too much 'action' for my liking.

Reckon on $225 for the low-season and up. Laguna etc. will be >$300 even in the off-season.

And yes, usually run 3 groups, and many schools have obligatory instructor ride-alongs for first-timers.

Here's the page of schools and other orgs that use Willow Springs:

it's been a few years but I've done trackdays with touring car club, speed venture, nasa and a combined nasa/p-car club

touring and speedventure is cool.

cost really depends on the track. streets of willow for example is about $120-150

a friend who owns a miata also did SCCA autocross which I'm not a fan of.

the think with nasa IIRC is you have to be a member or pay extra $
