New 800cc

Of all the bikes- Suzuki looks like the first to have a trickle down..

No way Honda could offer even a "based on" model..That exhaust, under seat gas unit waay to compact and trick...

I need a towel...There all bad ass. Peep those rotors man....Sick!

wow that swing arm looks fat and long!
but diggin the look

Wait. Why doesn't Pedrosa's bike have padding for his testicles? They must of gotten them mixed up. Isn't Hayden the one without balls?

Sorry... it was just too tempting.

Honda seems to be on a very minimalist fairing program. I am not seeing how it looks good at all. Or, could it be a carbon fiber shortage.... that sure does look like a tiny little beast.

Of the 800's I've seen so far the Ducati looks appealing to me.

is the motor mounted in backwards????

What was the reason for reducing engine size? Will the new 800cc configuration even up the competition with the old 500cc two-strokes?

And while I am asking that question: Are the 600cc sportbikes comparable to the 250cc motogp bikes? It's too bad the 250 and 125 don't race at Laguna. It would be interesting to compare lap times with our AMA guys.

From what I understand, they went to the 990cc 4-strokes because the 500cc 2-stroke machines were getting too fast for the tracks. Now they are switching to the 800cc because the 990cc bikes are too powerful. However, the 800cc bikes are turning times within .5 seconds of the 990cc bikes, so I have no fricking clue. :loco

250cc 2-strokes can turn comparable times to 600cc 4-strokes. They are typically much lighter and only slightly down on HP.

It's a VFR800 with 400 fewer pounds and 200 extra horsepower.

Least I'm not the only one thinking VFR + RC211v/CBR600 = 800 motoGP ride.....
