I'll wait here for the Excige vs Alfa track comparo...
Doesn't it only come in an auto transmission? If so, shame on Alfa.
If available in manual...![]()
though I too prefer a stick, the dual clutch sequential manual (flappy paddle) seems to be the hot set up; not really an automatic transmission.
.
Also, if it kept people from tailgating I'd be all for it, but my guess is that it will eventually make all cars drive inches away from each other. I think I'm going to have a hard time with that.Agreed. Took me a while to get on board with this idea, but perfect shifts trump my desire for a stick. I have a feeling that those who resist this idea have never driven a paddle shift car. We can resist paddle shift, carbon fiber, fuel injection, uni-body, disk brakes, radial tires, and all the other auto advancements that have happened over the years but it doesn't mean they're not better.
I suppose the cut off for me is self driving cars, which is without a doubt on the way and soon. I would say that it WILL make the city a less frustrating place, and should be mandatory for certain ethnic drivers....
