anyone have the new 'all powerfull', gadget to have, will trade my wife for one, heres my soul satan, Iphone?

what do you guys think of it?

i have had nextel since i had a phone, and it gets paid for by my dads buisness, since @ 16 he thought i should have one so he could keep track of me as i was fresh on wheels..

anyways i have upgraded phones, gone through 3 but its always the same thing with nextels, battery life; and some other things i dont need to go into details about..

but i can either stay with the 'free crappy phone' plan, or upgrade to a new iphone.... only thing is their plans are fucking expensive!!! its like over 100 bucks for a decent plan!! but you have SOO MUCH on that thing.. its crazy..

what do you guys think? overrated?

thats what im thinking (im 20 and work full time summers/winter part time fall spring)

its not like i cant afford it, but with the savings i can dump some money into my bike of vette... but the temptation gets to me

It may have all these neato features, but would you use them enough? Enough to pay $1200 a year for? (locked into a 2yr contract for $2400).
 
no not worth it. I used to be in to the latest phones etc, but now I don't give a crap, I have some cheapo metro pcs nokia phone that has a color screen. good enough.

My sister has an Itouch and it is just like an iphone only without the phone.
 
i actually dont think its that great. txt messaging sucks and how many times are you really going to be on you tube or any other site for that matter. you'll probably use all the features at the beginning cuz its new but after a month you wont use them and be stuck for 2 years with it. If you want a nice expensive phone i would suggest the new blackberry, thats what im getting.:p
 
yeah the more i look at it the more i realize it aint worth it.. might just get a black berry or somethin instead.. :teeth

ps. i need to remind myself to read slower when im here on barf.. i love the humor, but sometimes it turns on me :rofl

Geez, it's a PHONE!!!! Get a laptop if you want to surf the internet. It's too much $ to squint at a little screen.
 
The iPhone is worth it.

AT&T's ripoff rates, crappy voice plans and lousy customer service aren't.

Wait a little bit longer till other carriers get it. 3g isn't really all that anyway. Not that fast here. Eats up your battery too. I'd switch the iPhone to 2G for better battery life (it gives you that option). Problem is you'll still have to pay AT&T's 3g rate. So wait for now.
 
Couldn't deal with the terrible battery life. (read: FUCKING HORRENDOUS)
 
Heather picked one up pretty cheap, lets just say cheaper than the $199 price :thumbup, anyway's it has locked up twice since Sat:wtf
