New rider , looking for friends !!

Looking for some friends to randomly ride around and do some meets
I think you're too new on here for me to send you a private message but once you're tenured enough I'll pm you! If you make more bike friends you could make a group chat and then just send out invites willy nilly and see who shows up. That's the dream huh?

Maybe one day though, more likely I'll come visit during the evening since I work around San Jose
Around what time are you around SJ in the evenings? I can ride around in the evenings a bit! If I have a day or two's notice I can usually slip out for a few hours unless I already have plans that evening. I'm usually free between 5-7ish or after dinner like 630-830 ish. I use a tinted visor so I try to be home before dark, otherwise I gotta switch to the clear visor. I'll pm you :)

Can you make it this coming Sunday?
Okay I cleared my Sunday schedule I think I'll be there, most likely. Unless something comes up to prevent me. If I go, I'll be the shorty on the red honda so if you spot me come say hi :wave

Cool! Looking forward to it! I’ll be riding the black and pink ninja 500!

Anyone else? It’s a pretty good time :) I always go into it completely terrified, and come out the other end grinning from ear to ear.

FYI fellow newbies, I did the Doc Wong ride w/ @Supermarket Turnip and it was a fun time! I recommend it if you want to ride some twisties but be able to go your own pace. The tacos for lunch alongside the coast were great and I slept well afterwards :laughing

Next one is Sep 21 (I have to skip as I'm busy, but I'll try to make the October one)

Welcome!
+1 on the Doc Wong classes.
As you probably know by now, San Jose has Hick's Road & Mt Umunhum as good places to practice curvy roads without lots of traffic. Similarly, you can ride on McKeen road and Uvas road toward Morgan Hill. Mostly good for "ride your own ride" people. Be aware there can be aggressive commuters on these roads on weekday afternoons.

I just joined the forum again after stopping riding for a couple years to find out all my old friends moved away or don't really ride anymore. Im in the east bay and hit the twisties atleast once or twice a week in addition to commuting if any of you guys ever needs someone to tag along.
