Clogging of jets is not dependent on bike brand or model. It’s strictly dependent on the fuel you put in the tank and how old that fuel is. This assumes running the proper fuel filter.

Wow, I really appreciate a lot of you all giving insights into riding!! Thanks a bunch!
I was looking for a mount mainly for navigation as I recently moved to the Bay Area and am still unfamiliar with directions
. But I definitely understand that it might be distracting.
Just a quick follow-up, does anyone know a good reliable mechanic/shop for small maintainence stuff -- chain tighening, adjusting clutch cable, checking engine health, etc.? I recently got my break-in servicing at East Bay Motorsports in Hayward (and it felt like I was definitely overcharged)! I'm new to the world of biking and been watching some yt videos on maintenance but still don't think I trust myself just yet (also don't have all the tools).

The labor rate at Eastbay Motorsports is $150/hour.
I know because I’ve gone there too to get work done.
The thing is I’ve never had any issues with their quality and I’ve even had some custom stuff done there as well on my Hayabusa.
If I complain about the initial estimate they usually will come down some.
Having said that if anyone knows a good quality shop in the Eastbay I’m all ears. I know there are some good places in SF but that’s too far away from me here in Pleasanton.

Oh yeah,... the phone mount:
I use Quad Lock... it's great.
The drawback, is that you'll need to enter the QuadLock ecosystem, which can get pricey.
So get the phone case that has the Magnetic ring, so it can be used with other magnetic accessories.

Yo Blue... If you've got an iPhone 11, I've got got a Quad Lock case for it and it has the magnetic base. Quad Lock also has an accessory magnetic ring shown on the 11 case. (I'm keeping the blue ring for my iPhone 17 Pro case). One thing nice about the acc. ring is that it keeps the phone up off any flat surface you put it on. Less chance of scratching the camera len(s).
Price: Free, to you if you can use it or anyone else.
