New Triumph Daytona 675

The bike could race in AMA Formula Extreme. It would make Daytona verrrry interesting (the race- and the bike!).

I also believe there is some sort of provision for it to race in WSBK Supersport 600's (homologation rules). Current rules allow 600cc I4s, and 750 twins.

Exactly. Also BSB runs the class where 600 i-4 675 i-3 and 750 twins all tun in the same class.

I hope sprinklerhead is wearing diapers today.

I've know about that bike for months. :twofinger

363 lbs dry weight. 123 HP at the crank, 54 ft/lbs. Compared in head on profile to a 600RR, the 600RR looks like a fat pig. They did everything they could to make that bike narrow.

Before anyone starts getting too excited about these, might want to go to your local Triumph dealership and place a deposit now. Only 5000 are being produced for world wide distribution. MSRP is $7999, full line of accessories already available including a full Arrow Ti exhaust.

Currently the rules won't let it race yet, but hopefuly it'll be allowed in WSS and BSS. When doing some testing in Spain, the Daytona was running only 3 seconds off normal race times while using street tires.

You'll see me passing you on one of these in 2007. :cool

damn.sprink,hold me....

I like that, looks like a CBR600RR and a YZF-R6 smacked into each other and made that.

When a mommy CBR1000RR and a daddy R6 love each other very much....... :blush

Cool bike even in the beer piss gold

This baby should sound awesome too. Inline TRIPLE....
Years ago i used to hear a guy with a 750 Tident zoom past where I worked. What a beautiful noise.

They must have something up their sleeve racing wise.. Notice the adjustable swingarm pivot. You only see that on race oriented bikes ie Homoglamation specials.

NICE
