NFL 2018/2019 Thread

to be fair, Beathard gets the shit kicked outta him almost every game.

:hand Eli is the most sacked QB in the NFL, he is 5 ahead of Deshaun Watson. :laughing

Niners trying to get into the bad O-Line game like they know something.

STEP ASIDE, SON, THE KINGS ARE HERE!!

pffft...kings of what? Having a statue for a QB?

If Watson had cement shoes on he'd have been sacked twice as much. :twofinger

did cromartie really retire mid season,

what a goddamn fucked up season, that guy just screams playoff superbowl D playmaker.... holy cow batman

and he quit cuz coaches are playing him sporadically and in a seriously full rebuild by starting rookies 95% of the packages instead of highlighting him as a veteran probowler.......

WOW, raiders want to loose, if i was Carr i would want out. Vegas looks like a disaster, all sitting on draft picks.......

I like that you even want to fight about who is worse. Just can't get along, eh? :laughing

You make an excellent point though. David Carr still has the record for most times sacked in a single season. 76 is it? The Texans are the all time reigning champs of an O-Line that can't hold up. At the rate my guys are going, Eli will be sacked 62 times this season, which is still not close to what Carr ate. As a side fun fact, Carr spent a number of years as a backup to Eli after the Texans had wrung all the life out of him.

:rofl

I'm just giving a different angle on it is all. No one's fighting. I mean there is a level of suck at which point it just doesn't matter anymore. I think from this past Sunday's performance my 9ers have pretty much shown that we've sunk below that line this season.

BULLSHIT! 11/12, Baby. IT IS ON!!! We will lose so much harder than you!

That's the spirit!

There is a new theory now that the Giants take Bosa at #1 as the BPA, then try to make a deal for Flacco, since the QB Draft class is weak this year.

Personally, I don't want Bosa in my locker room, I hope they skip it.

I don't know enough about the college game to say whether or not an edge rusher is going to really produce at the pro level. Partly because I don't watch much college ball and partly because there is so much of it to watch it's hard for me to focus on any single player's ability and judge it. Toss in the fact that college ball has such a wide ranging level of competition and I just give up.

Anyway, I'd rather pick off a good edge rusher than try to draft one. Give me pick up like Haley going to the Cowboys or White going to the Packers any day. Hell, I'm sorely disappointed my 9ers didn't make more of an effort to get Mack.

I'm just assuming he is like his brother, which is a guy I do not want.

Joey Bosa's contract hold out was just plain stupid. It says to me he is an ego case. Usually bad for your locker room. When the guy does get on the field, he is a baller for sure, but he has literally spent half of his 2.5 seasons injured.

Nick Bosa is supposed to be good, but not as much of a physical freak as his brother. Everyone says he is the most NFL ready guy in this draft, but Joey Bosa sounds like a locker room headache primadonna to me and if that is the kind of guys the Bosa family is producing, I think I would rather let him go to another team and pick based on need.

You add that he is taking off the second half of his last college season to, "recover from an injury and focus on the NFL," this guys sounds like more of the same type shit to me.

Middle kids are different from the eldest. I'm saying that as a middle kid and a parent with three kids.

Given the state of NCAA wealth generation on the backs of its slave athletes I have no problem understanding the perspective he's taking. I'd have to meet him and hash it out before I put a thumb down on him though.

...scratch that. Nick is the youngest. I'd still have to sit down with him to get an idea of where his head's at.

yeah you wouldn't want a guy that would, say, refuse to play for a team that drafts him in order to force a trade...that never works out

I'm gonna go ahead and go out and lift weights tonight instead of stayin in for the Toilet Tank Bowl. I'll tune in when I get home if its still on. Kinda pisses me off that they are playing it early for the rest of the country, who doesn't want to see it anyway.

Raiders gonna euthanize those poor 49ers on their own field. RIP Shanahan's young head coaching career.

I'm going to meet up with B4B for pizza and beer...and hopefully my beer won't be too diluted with tears.

I just can't see how the Raiders win. They've found the fountain of losing. Even with no offense or defense and maybe with a third string QB, I think the 49ers somehow win this game.
