NFL 2018/2019 Thread

yo are the reports true,

we coulda got MORE for Mack then what da Bears were giving up?

WTF gruden

9ers potentially 2 1st rounders AND a player, holy cow batman, al d be rolling in his grave now, lynch is pretty adamant that his offer was better then da bears

lol, and who, Ruben Foster? Solomon Thomas? a bag of hockey pucks? the 9ers don't have shit to trade.

And I wouldn't be listening to Lynch with open ears. Just look at the guy's draft picks. Not a good start.

---------

Edit: All in all I'm happy for Mack. He got out of a horrid situation (OAK), dodged a bullet by not getting traded to another horrid situation (SC), and ended up in a place where they'll worship him as the next Urlacher.

best comment: Brees is getting the NFL MVP and the Nobel Peace Prize in the same year.

Joe Staley, and Kittle Corn. But Kittle didnt breakout till this year, remember they got both Aldon Smith and Bowman from across the bay.

yeah, Kittle sure. Good player. But the Raiders have Cook, and he's pretty good too.

Staley would have been a have been another pricey veteran bandaid on the o-line who wouldn't be around for the Vegas move, and may have helped win a game this year. Unfortunately that's not what the Raiders wanted.

not saying the Raiders wouldn't trade with the 9ers. I'd like to say McKenzie didn't make that trade to save some heartache being thrust upon the Nation. But there is no evidence to suggest that is on his mind either. I mean it's within the realm of possibility that it was a dumb trade all around, lol. whether they got 1st rounders from any team. Two first rounders are not going to equal what Mack brings now or in two years.

Not sayin' Lynch is full of shit, but Lynch is full of shit. :laughing

Now the Raiders will have their own pick in the top 3, they need Dallas and Chicago to lose a few games to raise those pick spots.

Iggles v. Giants today.

Not feeling good about it to be honest. Iggles are either completely broken after the saints embarrassment OR they are pissed and gonna make the giants pay for it. Im not holding my breath for the latter.....

This went as expected. Philly will ALWAYS find a way to shit in our stew. If there is hope to be destroyed, they will beat us, no question. HATE.

I was out with some buddies. I went and checked the score on my phone and it was 19-3 in the 2nd Quarter. I immediately went. "Oh fuck. They are going to destroy us in the 2nd half."

If this had been a close game with everybody swinging punches, we could have stayed in it and won, but letting my guys feel that good for most the first half, that is just a set up to crush hopes and dreams.

They did a study recently of the NFC East teams and fans said who their biggest rival was. The Cowgirls, of course picked the 'Skins. The other 3 teams all picked the Cowgirls, with like an 85%+ majority except the Giants, who were like a 45%/42% split. :laughing

^ Barkley is your future. Why the hell that guy only got 5 touches the second half is bewildering.

He towed the company line perfectly in the locker room to boot.
(As I would expect from a PSU grad;))

I am honestly baffled by the 2nd half calls, as he bloody murdered them in the 1st half. I have to kind of assume that it was a tank/didn't want to overwork him, in what is considered a lost season.

I love this kid though, he seems to be the perfect balance to Odell's assholery.

I’m eating dinner at the Seattle Seahawks sports bar in SeaTac airport. I hope you guys can forgive me.

Please, please, please let the Saints shred the cowgirls tonight like they did the Iggles a last week!

I wanna watch Brees throw for 500 yards tonight and see Dak get pummeled.

One toes the line, for what it's worth.:laughing

Barkley's great. I hope he survives the rebuild without getting killed.

Adding in: I think Brees will indeed shred 'em. They are peaking, maybe too soon, in fact. When the pundit comes on and says they are just about perfect right now, then it's worrisome. The one caveat about the usual Cowboy-hating is that I am actually happy that Amari Cooper gets to be good after getting slimed by the Raiders. It's gotta be hard to be on a team that dysfunctional and disappointing. I'd rather see guys' talent potential unlocked than frustrated.

I listened to a short but interesting monologue about the Bengals yesterday, I think it was on the Game. The basic premise is that Bengals never expect to go to Superbowls, they just put a product out there that is good enough, fill the stadiums, sell the merch. The context was the ridiculous hiring of Hue the Loser after he was dumped by Browns. But the radio guy expanded on the total picture, of permanently limited expectations. I am a fan of AJ Green and I sorta wish he could have the experience of being on a really good team with actual Super Bowl aspirations.

what was the odds for saints going all the way this year with a 39yr old qb that just had not yet broke nfl records for most yards and close to joining into the 500 td club. I wish i woulda took that bet :laughing
