Well, due to chores, (%$#@$@^&!!!) we missed the BARF Bash, but we did make it to the Soundgarden/NIN show at the Shoreline Amp.:thumbup Taking the bike was by far the right decision as they had (unmarked ) motorcycle parking right in front of the entry gates. A real good size crowd showed up, even the lawn area was pretty full. Weather was perfect, the only hassle we had was we had to push a couple of yougsters out of our spot on the fence. These 2 idiots were literally standing on my riding gear! And they got all butthurt that we told them to move somewhere else.:twofinger The music was awesome, both Soundgarden and NIN rocked the house. Hopefully next year the BARF Bash will syncronize with a good show again and we can double our fun.

Haven't seen Mr. Reznor in concert in over 10 years. Would have been cool to catch the show. Bummer....

Yeah, we'd gone to Shoreline twice before by car...this time the wife and I rode in. What a difference! Riding is the way to go.

Very good NIN show. Moto is the way to go. Easy in, easy out and free parking!

I managed to make it to both! it was a good day.

WE made both too :twofinger

Hey, I think I saw you red bike in the parking lot. Stupid battery was dead so I caged it but awesome show. Funny how a lot of the SG fans left when NIN came on stage. :afm199

Been over 10 years since I've seen NIN and they still rocked. Too bad the lawn still sucks.

You'd think in "Sillycon Valley" they'd have huge HD screens up instead of the crappy one they've had up for years. Couldn't even see SG on them from the lawn until it was dark.

NIN put on such a better show than Sound Garden. It's clear which band still has a passion for music.

I caged it as well. Don't like carrying moto gear around a crowded concert so I accepted my fate as a cage lemming.

+1. Shoreline is kinda crap considering...

Yeah, I was stuck on the lawn myself. Once NIN came on though, I had my coworker sneak us down to the seats. Gonna need to thank that guy with a 6 pack.

Y'all are lucky you didn't get shot

Horeline isn't a venue you go to if you like music unless you pony up for 100 section tickets... Like double letter 100 section

I actually do dislike Shorline. But, it's not as though I had any other chances to catch NIN locally. Some times you just have to say fuck it.

Saw them with Jane's Addiction at Shoreline, I think in 2009. Considering the size of the venue, it was a good show.

I wouldn't have gone if my buddy didn't have 2 tickets he was stuck with. For 25 bucks I guess I shouldn't complain. You get what you pay for and all.

I've had front row seats there for Deep Purple and that was an entirely different experience. :thumbup

(We read about the shooting after we got home. Funny, didn't get patted down or anything going in :dunno)

Mrs. and I saw them at Shoreline (along with Peaches and Bauhaus) in 2006. Great show!

We nearly got kicked out, though; turns out that it was supposed to be a "family show," and they thought our behavior wasn't appropriate... :rofl

Yeah it was the red ZX14. I have been to just about every NIN show in the Bay Area for the last 10 years. I even corrupted my daughter into loving them. This was the first NIN show for my wife though. She loved it. I didn't mind the lawn seating, right at the rail at least you don't have anyone standing in your way.:thumbup

$25 is about right, which usually barely covers the per ticket rape fees from ticket bastard

It used to be that if you went to the box office to buy tickets, many of the fees were dropped. Shoreline box office is open Sundays

Security is and always has been a joke there. Unless you have a water bottle, they always find those

They didn't take ours - they only made us remove the caps (?)...but that's it. Could have been vodka for all they cared.
