Hello all! 2nd year rider here hoping to find and use a lot of great info on the forums. After getting my license last year and picking up a 2009 Versys 65, I put in a few thousand miles and was hooked. This year, I’ve gone all in and purchased a 2019 F750GS and have been having a blast on it.
My biggest ride so far was last summer when I did an epic one day shot out and back to Yosemite for a hike up to Nevada Falls.
I’ve got a little motocamping trip planned for the end of this month that I’m super excited for.

Be safe everyone!

Welcome! Glad you are enjoying it. We have some great rallies lined up this year. Check them out and come ride!

Welcome Glad you're enjoying riding You got a couple of good bikes there.

If you haven't had more training yet I would recommend the intermediate riding clinic offered by most of the CMSP training sites. Since you're in the East Bay it's offered at Livermore through Pacific Motorcycle Training. They also offer the advanced riding clinic there as well.

Welcome from the Livermoron contingent! Ride safe out there.

You sound like the type of person who would really love a Barf Rally. Join one. You won't be disappointed.

Congrats on the nice bike. Be sure and check out BMWNorcal.org for some great rides and events plus meet a bunch of bmw riders. Every month we have ride to a campsite somewhere in Northern California for an overnight campout. We also have second Sunday breakfast rides as well. Our February meeting is at Clearlake state park this weekend. Plenty of opportunities to put some miles on that 850. You’ll definitely see a ton of California on great roads off the highway

Thanks. I’ve checked out their website and it seems like it’s right up my alley. I’m usually working Saturdays so I’d have to make some arrangements tomggo camping but I do need to check that group out.

Welcome to fun and to chaos! :party
