Not quite a group ride.. But..

For some reason, I think I shoot more accurately with my buddy's Glock 19 and he shoots more accurately with my Walther P99. Anyway, you should check out City Arms in Pacifica. I got a case of 1,000 9mm rounds for $230 and it's factory ammo. See what they can get you for a case of .40. Those Russians really know their weapons. And they keep trying to sell my girlfriend a Kimber 1911 Team Match (.45).

Walmart in Milpitas just got a huge shipment. I bought .40 for 13.99 a box a few weeks back.
 
Damn, too bad I didn't see this earlier. Riding AND buying ammo?? That sounds like heaven to me.

I find ammo to be cheaper online though. Also, I always make it a point to stop by the Cabela's store in Verdi, NV to stock up on ammo on my way to Reno - if you haven't been, check it out. Coolest store ever, I can spend 3 hours in there.

Walmart is hit or miss when it comes to ammo, sometimes they carry decent stuff, and sometimes my firearms don't like their ammo, except for the glock19, which seems to love everything.

I'm lucky enough to get ammo from Dad up in Oregon. I just buy him the reloading supplies and I have all the rifle and handcannon ammo a girl could want. I'm ready for the zombie apocalypse.

Depending on what caliber.. Shooting after a stressful week feels like taking a huge dump after a long camping trip.
